David Weiss is a Vice President with Houlihan Smith & Company, Inc. Mr. Weiss has extensive experience advising clients on buy-side and sell-side transactions, strategic alternatives, and capital raising engagements as well as providing financial opinions for a myriad of transaction structures. He has worked closely with executive management teams and boards of directors of publicly-traded companies, privately owned and closely held companies, and Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPAC) to advise clients on transaction structure, capital structure, and valuation of securities, including illiquid securities held as available for sale. Prior to Houlihan Smith & Company, Inc., Mr. Weiss was a consultant with CBIZ Valuation Group where he was a member of the healthcare and consumer products teams. Prior to CBIZ, Mr. Weiss worked as an equity analyst with Two Rivers Capital Management where he was responsible for research and analysis of small and mid-cap value stocks. Early in his career, Mr. Weiss was a healthcare consulting and sales representative with Medline Industries where he consulted on inventory management and reimbursement issues and sold medical products to long-term care facilities and medical supply dealers.

Mr. Weiss is a CFA charterholder and is a member of both the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Chicago. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities licenses and is an active member of DePaul University's Circle of Finance Opportunities (CFO). Mr. Weiss received a B.S. from the University of Connecticut where he majored in Physical Therapy and an MBA from DePaul University's Kellstadt Graduate School of Business from which he graduated with distinction and concentrated in Financial Analysis.
